First things to do

When first joining ReLife, it is recommended to get a driver's license and find a job so you can start earning some money.

  1. Read the rules
  2. Get a driver's license
  3. Find a job

Driver License

Head down to the DMV. The blip looks like this on your map DMV map blip

First, you'll need to pass a theoretical test, which has a fee of $650. Once completed, you'll be eligible to take your practical driving tests.
There are three licenses you can obtain: Class D (standard car), Class M (motorcycle) and CDL (commercial truck)

In Los Santos, the percentage of drunk-driving accidents is high. A 0.08% blood alcohol content is the limit to drive in the city legally.

Speed limits are important, as they help limit your vehicle's speed and reduce the chance of accidents or losing control of your vehicle.

Speed limits

  • Residential Area - 40 MPH
  • Highways - 70 MPH

Changing lanes

  • Check your mirrors
  • Check your blind spots
  • Signal your intentions

When driving in Los Santos, you always have to stop at a red light unless you are taking a right turn. If you see a pedestrian crossing when turning at a red light, wait until the pedestrian has crossed before continuing.

Finding a Job

There's lots of different jobs and activities you can do in ReLife to earn money. Some of the things you can do are PizzaThis, GoPostal, construction work, hotdog selling, garbage collection, oil rig, mining, hunting, fishing and more.

Please keep in mind that some jobs require a driver's license to be able to work there. The type of license required depends on the vehicle used for that job, so make sure you have the correct one before heading to work.

PizzaThis starter job

A simple job to start with is PizzaThis, a pizza delivery service. Just like any other job, it can be found by locating the red P blip on your map PizzaThis map blip

Once you have made your way down to PizzaThis, you can start your shift by walking up to the front entrance and flexing your "E" muscle when prompted, then hitting Start Shift, assuming you have your Class M license.
You will start out delivering on a moped, but as you progress you will upgrade to a car, which will require a Class D license instead.

Now you can follow the deliveries shown on your GPS. If you complete all the deliveriess, you will be given a bonus payout.
Working during peak hours will also earn you more money, which you can check when starting your shift.

Weapon and Hunting Licenses

If you want to legally carry a firearm, you'll need to apply for a weapon license at City Hall.
The application costs $3,000 and requires you to have spent at least 12 hours in the city before being eligible.
Once submitted, the results can take up to 7 hours to process, so head back to City Hall to check on the status of your application.

If you would like to hunt, you will need a hunting license in addition to your weapon license. This can also be obtained at City Hall for $2,000. City Hall can be found by locating this blip on your map City Hall map blip
