Server Rules

When a person does not roleplay realistically and performs actions that break immersion.

Going out of character and speaking from 'real life' in-game.

Using a mechanic or ability that does not exist to get an unrealistic advantage.

Using out of character gathered information in-game.

Randomly killing other players using a weapon.

Vehicle deathmatch, purposely using a vehicle to injure or kill another player.

Trying to stop or punish criminal actions on your own rather than involving emergency services.

You are expected to react to danger as a real person would, showing appropriate fear and self-preservation when your life is at risk.

You should not act in ways that does not value your life. For example: Jumping from extreme heights without attempting to survive would be considered not valuing your life.

Taking items from another character without valid roleplay reason.

Disconnecting to avoid danger, death, events and interactions.

Intentionally ruining the experience of the server for other players.

Roleplay in which a character accepts payment or valuables to carry out a targeted killing or violent act against another character.

Once a player enteres ICU or respawns, all prior events surrounding that death are considered forgotten.

Roleplaying as being pregnant and expecting a child.

ReLife Roleplay's community consists of adults above the age of 18.

You must have a working microphone to play in ReLife. If your mic does not work in-game it has to be resolved before play continues. If you are having issues with your microphone that you are unsure how to fix, you can create a ticket and our staff may be able to assist.

When making a ticket be sure you include a clip using a clipping software such as Medal, Steelseries, NVIDIA, or Twitch. If you need help with uploading a medal clip please open a ticket and we will help you. By posting clips in #gta-clips, you are also consenting to us potentially uploading these to social media websites to showcase the city.
Clips will not be accepted if they are over 10 hours old. This is to avoid petty ticket making. If you see an issue- report it immediately.
Tip: We recommend using Medal as it's automatically integrated with ReLife!

Please be respectful to our staff team, even in situations where you may not agree with their decisions. The staff team volunteers their time to help create a welcoming environment for players and they sometimes have to make hard decisions at their discretion.

The Relife staff team is required to show respect to every player, and we expect the same courtesy from our players in return. If you disagree with a staff member’s decisions or behavior, you are welcome to open the appropriate ticket in Relife Discord.

Bullying, Harassment or Targeting will be punished with a permanent ban without a chance of appeal. We will always attempt to get all points of view in these matters and hard proof is necessary on both sides.

If you have been told by staff to avoid a certain person for some time to minimize reports and conflict, you must follow those orders or it can result in a permanent ban. Failure to do so will be considered violating targeting and harassment rules.

Any form of discrimination, racism, sexual harassment or sexism will not be tolerated and you will be punished with a ban without an appeal. Racial, ableist, homophobic, transphobic slurs or slurs of ANY kind are not allowed regardless of what context you say them in.

While swearing is allowed, we do not want personal slurs or general harassment directed towards anyone outside of roleplay.

Any threats made to the community or a person will be taken very seriously. A permanent ban may be given without the chance to appeal.

Staff reserves the right to ban any person from our servers at any time if they are found to be disruptive, or if we have a valid reason to think that they are here to be disruptive and not provide quality RP.

The majority of our community is made up of US & UK players where English is the primary language. You must speak English on our server so that you can properly interact with other players.

Trading real life items for any in game luxury is not allowed and will result in a permanent ban. We are not a commercial entity and this is strictly prohibited by FiveM. Server donations are not included, as donations only go towards paying for the server itself.

You are to stay in character at all times. If you are caught going out of character (OOC), you will be punished

Character names must be appropriate and realistic. Names containing any offensive language, "troll names", or trademarked names that would break TOS are not acceptable and will result in character deletion and/or ban.

Scenes should not be started 15 minutes before a tsunami (Server Restart)

You're not allowed to start a robbery 30 minutes before or after a server restart. Any active scene has to continue where they left off after server restart.

You must create an actual character when you first fly into the city. Do not attempt to roleplay as the default character you spawn in as.
If you did not create your character at the beginning, please re-create the character.

If someone pulls a weapon on you and points it at you, you are to put your hands up and abide by their demands.
You must value your life at all times, if there is any reason in which your life might be in danger you must try to remain safe.

If someone takes you hostage or if someone points a gun at you, you must listen to their demands. If you believe a rule has been broken, let the scene play out, clip it and open a ticket. Going OOC about it may result in punishment towards you as well.

DO NOT attempt to pull out a weapon, raise your weapon or shoot if a player has you at gunpoint, YOU MUST VALUE YOUR LIFE.

Combat logging or F8ing is considered exploiting. If you are caught, it will result in a punishment.
If someone does this in a scene, open a ticket and send us all the information you gathered so we can punish the offending party.
We are aware of common crashes, connection issues, etc… However logs can show whether it was intentional or not.
Our decisions will be made based on the evidence provided and information via logs.

If you do disconnect from the city during a scene and you are able to reconnect back into the city make sure you return to the same location you were in during the scene. Just make sure to explain that “Your head popped”. Items will not be given for F8’s.

Your main goal in the city should not be to just “shoot.”
Creating storylines is what you should be doing and only shoot IF it makes sense for that storyline to have gunplay.
There are so many ways to creatively roleplay and we encourage our players to prioritize roleplay over gunplay.

Continuously robbing someone as a means to make money is not allowed.

You must have a MINIMUM 30 second interaction with a player in order to rob or kill them.
However, this interaction must include valid reasoning and quality RP.
Staff reserves the right to punish for fail RP regardless of interaction time.

If the scene is 30 seconds but the RP shows no reason for the interaction to become hostile then it will be considered RDM as there is no reason to resort to violence.
Interactions do NOT include phone interactions, such as Y app interactions, phone calls, or texts.
The interaction must be in person. However phone interactions CAN be used to build beef and a storyline leading up to an interaction.
Hotspot places are the only exception where interactions can begin with guns drawn.
